Legion of Mary -No Longer at St. Clement
The Legion of Mary volunteers pray and work, assisting our Blessed Mother in her battle to win more souls for Christ. Active members meet once each week to study the handbook, pray the Rosary together and the Legion prayers, then report on the work done the previous week and receive a new assignment for the coming week. Active members are required to spend at least two hours in fulfulling their weekly assignments. They visit the sick and shut-ins, take Communion to the sick who wish to receive, call on inactive Catholics to encourage them back into the Church, take people to church who have no transportation, visit people in need, spend time in the Adoration Chapel, visit nursing homes, participate in the Prayer Line ministry, attend wakes and funerals, pass out religious articles and literature, work with the Pastor making sure he is informed of any one who wants to see a priest.
We encourage you to consider the Legion as a ministry and experience what a difference it will make in your life and the environment in which you live. The Blessed Mother has said many times in apparitions around the world: "If you want to live in Peace, Pray the Rosary." Helping Mary is now in your hands. Volunteer your help. You will be rewarded again and again.
